This site has no user accounts, third-party advertising pixels or card-number access. It records a short-lived random session identifier and a small allowlist of first-party product events such as opening a planting, starting checkout or viewing a result. Those events exclude email addresses, wallet addresses and precise location.
The globe and quiz use local or session storage to remember interface state, quiz answers, a pending Stripe return and receipts on that device. This state is not an account and may be cleared in your browser. A signed result link can carry sanitized quiz answers to another device; it expires and does not expose the submitted email address.
If you ask for your quiz result by email, the address is used for that one send and is not stored as a sales lead or forwarded to a lead-notification mailbox. The request does not enroll you in marketing or recurring updates.
Tapping "Plantings near me" asks your browser for a location so the globe can fly to the nearest pin. That request happens only on that tap. The coordinates stay in your browser; this site does not send or store them.
Approved purchases are processed by Stripe. When you check out, Stripe handles your payment details and email address under its own privacy policy. Stripe may use cookies on its checkout page and payment buttons. We receive the amount, the verified record you chose, checkout and settlement identifiers, and the email address used to send the evidence receipt and handle support or mandatory remedies. Pooled and monthly payments are not offered by the current release.
Donation totals shown on the site are anonymized aggregates (tree counts, site names and timing) - never names, emails or exact amounts per person.
The globe loads satellite imagery from EOX (Sentinel-2) and Esri. Like any web request, those providers receive your IP address when tiles load.
The site is hosted on Netlify, which processes standard server logs (IP addresses) to serve the site.
